In the early 90's James Blond was Djing at various underground events in the UK & Balearics when the opportunity arose to take his sound to the airwaves courtesy of Choice fm.
In 1999 James made his giant leap & was poached from Chrysalis to represent Capital Radio on the dance circuit.
James went on to bring his music to the masses via 96.4fm BRMB hosting Club 964, later rebranded Dancemasters & audience figures rocketed.
With his dj bookings covering all the major players on the circuit & after spending most weekends being at the forefront of the clubbing scene,
James Blond decided to take a retrospective look at the tunes that made him want to jock in the first place & launched his own brand; in 2002 GOD (GoodOldDays) was born.
GOD Good Old Days was fused into a brand new radio show, which has since been broadcast on 94 radio stations worldwide.
Whilst still touring with GOD & hosting his radio shows, In 2007 James launched his own record label & production outfit, Rhythm Central.
Teaming up with soul legend ROACHFORD, Rhythm Centrals first release 'What I Need' was snapped up & signed to Sony BMG.
Various production & remix projects ensued (check out the PRODUCER page) & with various live events & radio broadcasts under his belt, James continued on the up.
After supporting Destinys Child during the 'Destiny Fulfilled World Tour' & hosting a multitude of events
(Gay Pride, Party In The Park, Max Power Live) he has been heralded with recognition from DJ Magazine and appeared on MTV Dance & Channel 4's 'Faking it'.
